Why Travel? Why Not.

Have you ever met someone who wasn’t as excited about travel like yourself and you wondered what was wrong with them. I know I’ve met a few but today I want to share Why Travel is important to our everyday lives.

What’s up bloggers and bloggetts, it’s your girl you know who (Shawne P.) with another you know what (Blog) for your reading pleasure.

If any of you have been following me for sometime via my blog or social media sites I think it would be safe to say that this girl right here loooovvvveeessss travel. In fact I don’t love it I have a love affair with it. (Big difference, Lol)

Why Travel? Why Not.

Today, I wanted to talk about why someone might travel. Perhaps it’s to just go somewhere an relax on a beach, maybe you want to volunteer, maybe you desire to live somewhere else so vacationing might help the process.

Whatever your reasonings What Travel has done for me and my family is to open our eyes to this big wide world. You get history lessons like no other. It is soooooo much better than reading a book. You get to smell, feel, touch and live the culture. You get to meet people and truly understand them and their way of life. You get to eat the food hell you may even get to milk a cow and drink it straight no chaser.

Traveling the world has so much to offer even before you get to your destination.Think about how many different people from around the world you can encounter just in the airport ,train or bus station. Whatever your mode of transporation you will encounter others.

Question: Do you find yourself more pleasant to others when your about to embark on your days of bliss?

I’m a cruiser so meeting people from all over the world is an understatement. I’m met Amish people, folks from the UK, Switzerland, Pennsylvania, Boston, Chicago and the list goes on. And I make it a point to talk to them. Why? Because this is how we start to understand each other and start the process of trying to rid the world of all the nasty things that go on.

Now, please don’t leave yet. I’m not trying to start some debate here or get political I’m just saying that meeting and getting to know people helps us in the world of travel. It gives us a better understanding of people. I think the news gives us all a bad rap.

So, I have a final question for you. DO YOU TRAVEL? AND WHY? I would love to hear your thoughts on today’s post and feel free to share some of your travel experiences.

Until we meet on the beaches of the world
